The Pop! Town series was launched in 2019 and soon the first towns were built. The first Pop! vinyl Town figure, or rather figure and building, released in the Pop! Town series was Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Mansion.
In addition to Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Mansion, Funko paid tribute to the hit movie franchises Ghostbusters and Back to the Future, casting Dr. Peter Venkman along with the Ghostbusters Firehouse and Doc Emmett Brown, along with the iconic Clock Tower.
The Pop! Town series is still quite young and the number of town released is still limited. But Funko will no doubt work and build hard to release new and iconic towns in the near future. One thing is certain: the Pop! vinyl collector needs enough space in the house to be able to present all the different Pop! vinyl Town figures.
In addition to the regular Pop! vinyl Town series, Funko has also released a special Pop! vinyl Town Christmas series. The Pop! Christmas series offers a healthy dose of holiday spirit with several Christmas characters and building choices from Holiday Town.
