Funko has released new Funko Pop! vinyl Rocks figures from two music legends: Jimi Hendrix & John Lennon.
New Hendrix & Lennon figures in the Pop! Rocks series.
Jimi Hendrix is an old acquaintance from the Funko Pop! Rocks series and Pop! vinyl figures of the legendary guitarist appear several times in the popular music series.
In fact, Jimi Hendrix was the first music artist to appear in the Funko Pop! Rocks series.
At least, in 2011, Funko released a Pop! figure called Purple Haze. Referring to Jimi Hendrix of course, including the figure’s appearance. Funko apparently didn’t want to get official licensing rights, so the name Jimi Hendrix is also missing from the box. Funko released two more Pop! vinyl figures in 2017. Of course this time including the name Jimi Hendrix.
Funko pays tribute to Jimi Hendrix again this year with the release of four different Pop! vinyl figures, including two exclusive black light variants.
The other music legend to be honored once again in the Pop! Rocks series is John Lennon. A Pop! vinyl figure of John Lennon has appeared in series before, but as part of The Beatles.
This time the English singer, songwriter and peace activist is on a solo tour and five new John Lennon Pop! vinyl figures are added to the Pop! Rocks series.
