Funko has annouced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden.

Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band formed in Leyton, East London, in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. As pioneers of the new wave of British heavy metal movement, Iron Maiden achieved initial success during the early 1980s, and after several line-up changes, the band went on to release a series of UK and US platinum and gold albums.
The band’s discography has grown to 41 albums, including 17 studio albums, 13 live albums, four EPs, and seven compilations. Iron Maiden have also released 47 singles and 20 video albums. Two electronic games have been released with Iron Maiden soundtracks, and the band’s music is featured in a number of other video games.
Iron Maiden also features in the populair Funko Pop! Rocks series, where Eddie or Eddie the Head, the band’s mascot, is transformed into a Funko Pop! vinyl figure. Every Pop! Iron Maiden figure released in the Pop! Rocks series is named after one of the band’s albums.
The newly announced wave has a release date in July 2022 and will feature five new Funko Pop! vinyl Iron Maiden figures, including a chase variant.
