Funko, in collaboration with Panini America, has unveiled the first releases of the new Funko Pop! Trading Cards series.
NBA trading cards transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl.
Following the success of the popular Funko Pop! Albums series, the Pop! Comic Covers series and the recently launched Pop! Game Covers series, Funko has now applied the concept to sports trading cards.
The first collection in the Funko Pop! Trading Cards series is dedicated to NBA Basketball, transforming the Panini Prizm NBA Basketball trading cards into Funko Pop! vinyl.
The Pop! Trading Cards series is a combination of a hard premium protector case, a Funko Pop! vinyl figure and of course artwork of the trading card. The end product is simply amazing and a must-have for every basketball fan.
The back of the case is decorated with artwork of the trading card and the front of the case features a Funko Pop! vinyl figure representing the likeness of the trading card. The dimensions of the case are approximately 7.5”W x 10.5”H x 3.25”D (W 19 cm x H 26.7 cm x D 8.3 cm). The Funko Pop! Trading Cards can easily be hung on the wall.
The first releases of the new Funko Pop! Trading Cards series are scheduled for May and July this year and will feature six different NBA players, including star players LeBron James and Stephen Curry.
