Anthony L. Ray (born August 12, 1963), better known by his stage name Sir Mix-A-Lot, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer and veteran Hip Hop icon.

Sir Mix-A-Lot is best known for his 1992 hit song “Baby Got Back”, which spent five weeks at the top spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart and also won a Grammy for Best Rap Solo Performance in 1992.

The Hip Hop classic “Baby Got Back” was inspired by his then girlfriend who was built beautiful and curvy, unlike the image of “beautiful” women portrayed in women’s magazines and commercials at the time. Together they decided to make a song dedicated to thicker girls who didn’t fit the norm, and the classic track was born.

Funko honors the Hip Hop icon with a Funko Pop! makeover and the new Pop! Sir Mix-A-Lot figure is part of the Pop! Rocks series. The Funko Pop! figure is inspired by the Baby Got Back music video, which features Sir Mix-A-Lot standing on a butt.
