Funko has announced a new wave of Nickelodeon (animated television series) Funko Pop! vinyl figures, including new figures of The Ren & Stimpy Show.
New Nickelodeon (animated TV series) Funko Pop! figures
Nickelodeon, occasionally shortened to Nick, is an American pay television channel owned by Paramount Global through Paramount Media Networks’ subdivision, Nickelodeon Group.
Launched on April 1, 1979 as the first cable channel for children, the channel primarily targets children and adolescents aged 2 to 17 through its program blocks, along with a broader family audience.
Programming on Nickelodeon includes animated series (such as SpongeBob SquarePants, The Loud House, Middlemost Post, The Patrick Star Show, The Wild Thornberrys, The Smurfs, Rugrats and Monster High), live-action, scripted series (such as Danger Force, Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan and That Girl Lay Lay), and original made-for-TV films.
Funko has transformed a number of characters from Nickelodeon’s animated series into Funko Pop! vinyl figures.
The newly announced wave includes Nickelodeon Funko Pop! vinyl figures of Donnie Thornberry and Eliza Thornberry (The Wild Thorberrys), Jimmy Neutron (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius) and Otto Rocket and Reggie Rocket (Rocket Power).
Ren and Stimpy, from Nickelodeon’s The Ren & Stimpy Show (1991-1995), are making a comeback in the world of Funko Pop! vinyl. Following previously released Ren and Stimpy Funko Pop! vinyl figures in the Funko Pop! Animation series, Funko has now announced two new figures in the Funko Pop! Television series.
