Disney is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort and Funko is joining in the festivities with the release of Funko Pop! vinyl Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary figures.

It has been 50 years since Walt Disney World Resort opened its doors to the public in Orlando, Florida.
Disney is celebrating Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary with an 18-month celebration called “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”. The celebration will run from October 1, 2021 through April 1, 2023.
Funko is joining the festivities and has released a special Pop! vinyl line in honor of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.
The upcoming Funko Pop! Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary collection is a mix of various Pop! vinyl figures, including Pop! Rides and Pop! Town figures, all with a direct link to attractions in the Walt Disney World theme parks.
Funko has transformed Tomorrowland’s PeopleMover attraction into Pop! vinyl with four different Pop! Disney releases, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Pluto. In addition, a Pop! figure of the Pirates of the Caribbean Dog has been released, including a flocked variant exclusive to BoxLunch.
Three new Disney rides will be released in the Pop! Rides series, with Goofy having fun on the Dumbo The Flying Elephant ride and Mickey Mouse holding a tight grip on the Space Mountain ride.
Space Mountain also returns in the Pop! Town series, where the Disney attraction has been transformed into Pop! vinyl along with Mickey Mouse.
