Funko has announced a new wave of Funko Pop! vinyl figures from the American heavy metal band Slipknot.

Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray.
After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on nine members for more than a decade: Michael Shawn Crahan, Joey Jordison, Paul Gray, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root.
Slipknot is known for its striking image, aggressive music style and energetic and chaotic live shows. The band quickly rose to fame after the release of their eponymous debut album in 1999. The 2001 follow-up album, Iowa, made the band even more popular.
Slipknot returned in 2004 with their third studio album. After several hiatus, Slipknot has released a total of seven studio albums, two live albums, a compilation album titled Antennas to Hell, and five live DVDs.
The band has sold 30 million records worldwide and more than 12 million in the United States. Slipknot have been nominated for ten Grammy Awards and have won one.
Members of Slipknot have been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures and are part of the Funko Pop! Rocks series.
Following previously released Funko Pop! vinyl figures of current and former band members Corey Taylor, Craig Jones and Sid Wilson, Funko has now announced a new wave of Slipknot Funko Pop! Rocks figures.
The newly announced wave includes six new Slipknot Funko Pop! Rocks figures, including figures of Mick Thomson, Jim Root, Jay Weinberg, Michael Pfaff (Tortilla Man) and VMan (Alessandro Venturella). Even though Jay Weinberg has left the band in 2023, he will still be honored with a new Slipknot Funko Pop! figure. The new Slipknot Funko Pop! vinyl figures have a release date of March 2024.
