Football or soccer is the most popular sport in Europe, probably in the world, and the players of the football pitch have now been transformed into Funko Pop! vinyl figures. The players are now part of the Funko Pop! Football series.

The Funko Pop! Football series may confuse collectors in the United States, as the series is not about American Football but all about the European sport soccer.
Strangely enough, there are now two Pop! Sports series with the same name. But we make the distinction between the Pop! NFL Football series and the Pop! Football series.
The first Pop! vinyl figures from the Pop! Football series were released in 2018. Funko has so far signed licensing deals with a number of Premier League clubs from England and French Ligue 1 football club Paris Saint Germain.
Wave 1 features a total of ten different players, including David De Gea (Manchester United), Eden Hazard (Chelsea FC), Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané (Liverpool FC).
The second wave of the Pop! Football series was unveiled at the London Toy Fair in 2019. The second line-up takes a trip to the French Ligue 1, where players from Paris Saint Germain were added to the Pop! Football series, including star players Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappe.
During Toy Fair 2020, Funko unveiled seven new vinyl figures from the Pop! Football series. Three new players from Chelsea FC, including N’Golo Kante and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. Bernardo Silva from Manchester City FC and a new Pop! vinyl figure from Liverpool FC star Sadio Mané.
